Made another card...

for Scrapaddicted! This time I used the stamps, Carpe Diem, Fjäril liten and Fjäril mellan.

I have made some layouts as well, but one is for a guest-designer spot and the other one for a competition so I can't show them just yet!

Wow....

It seems to work to update the blog just fine from Microsoft word so now I thought that I would try to include a pic in the post as well! So here we go!

And I found a layout that I did about 5 months ago and I haven't shown yet, since it's not one that I really like :)

And it's a quiet day at work! The office is empty except Jennie and me! So there's time to slack a bit ;)

There won't be much in this post; I'm just testing how it works to update the blog from Microsoft Word.

Unusual colors..

for me to create with are purple and turquoise, never ever do I make something with purple because I just can't make it look good! But the challenge this month at Ett trykk is to make a card in purple and turquoise! Do I have to say that I struggled with this one ;)

Going on vacation...

... but unfortunately not until 28th of November!! But we're going to stay one week in Miami in this hotel...

This will be the view from our room!

And then we're going on a one week cruise in the Caribbean!!!

We're going to be living in a suite just like this one...

First stop on the cruise will be Labadee - Haiti

Then it's Ocho Rios - Jamaica

After that comes George Town - Grand Cayman

And the last stop will be in Cozumel - Mexico!

Do I have to say that I long for November to come ;)

Last friday...

did I and 5 more girls had a little VC on the computer via Messenger. One of the girls had a challenge, a sketch challenge AND you had to use some specified material! I think it was Punchinella, prima roses, and at least two PP. This is how my card turned out, because as usual I only did one of the challenges and then it was time for me to go to bed ;)

A card and the mini....

Sorry for not putting up the mini before! But it's been a hectic weekend!

Yesterday I went to a crop and I had a WONDERFUL time. I met some girls that I only had the pleasure to meet on the internet before, and they were even better IRL!!! Lots and lots of laughing and talking, but this time I actually made TWO layouts and one card! It was a long time ago since I made that much in one crop. Although it was for challenges to there was some time pressure, and I think I work best then ;) There were 5 challenges, but I only manage to make three of them, I delivered my last one 5 min before deadline!
And guess what!!! I won all three of them!!!! (proud) I can't show you the layouts yet, because I'm in a swap, where we scrap each others pics, and these two layouts were for the swap, but I can show them in a couple of days since I'm sending them off tomorrow!

But the card looks like this: The challenge was a Sketch one!

And so the mini-album I made earlier this week. It's some pics from New York that I used. Maybe the album is not so much "me" but I made it just to get something done quickly!

I thought I should start to pack my bags tonight for the crop I'm going to on Saturday! I still haven't figured out how to pack my Crop in Style to get the most out of it! But I'll guess that'll come with time!

Went to another crop...

... today. Just a mini one, it's me and two other girls that get together once a month for some scrapping... Today I managed to do half a card *smiles* the front is finished but not the rest! It's a fact I can be the slowest cardmaker out there!

On Saturday I'm going to yet another big crop! That will be 3 crops in less than a week! I wonder what the neighbours think when I, every other day, come down to my card, load it up with tons of bags and stuff and drive off, just to come back home some hours later?? If I had seen one of the neighbours do that I would have thought they were going on a trip somewhere!
But I'm building muscles here, because it's NOT easy carrying the big Crop in Style XXL, filled to the brim, to the third floor. I had to weigh it when I got home Sunday evening, because I thought I was about to die after carrying it, and the weight of it was 26 kilo's or 57.3 lb... That is quite heavy... And I had other bags as well to carry! So I think I have to plan a little better what to pack to the crops so it doesn't get so heavy all the time!

So I went to a crop yesterday, but all I came home with was ONE card and that one I made because I was challenged by another girl to make a card in 15 minutes... ME!! making a card in just 15 min??? As I thougth I didn't make one in 15, but I did manage to do it in just 20 minutes... Normally it takes me at least an hour, and then it's a fast card... Although I haven't taken a pic of it yet so I'll have to show it to you another day!
